The Ramapo Boys u12 team is beginning to take great shape with Top Coach / Trainer Andres Gomez driving the boys forward to success. Allready the boys are in the NY State Challenge Semi final to be played in May and the boys are looking forward to that.
Andres said' The team is working hard we have a way to go yet but we are heading in the right direction"
Craig Russell is the team manager and works tirelessly behind the scenes to make this team run smooth. Crag's son Ben Russell is the forward in the team and Craig has seen a massive change in his son's performance since Andres and GB Soccer have come on board with the team. "The whole team is responding to the excellent direction that Andres is giving"
The team is currently playing in Northern Counties and is exploring which tournaments the boys should be entering this coming year.
Ramapo Valley u12 boys team, coached by Andres Gomez had an excellent outing at Torne valley dome on Friday 23rd Jan, when they ran out winners of their first annual 8 v 8 tournament. Also playing were, Monroe Utd, Monroe Woodbury, Clarkstown and North Rockland. It was a very exciting night and enjoyable for all present. RVSC beat Woodbury 1-0, followed that up with a 1-0 win over Monroe Utd, a 1-0 won over North Rockland and a 0-0 tie with Clarkstown to lift the trophy. But on the night it was the game that was the winner, providing all the u12 boys with a very enjoyable night in an excellent facility.
