The Rampo Valley u18s Reilly team , the flag ship team of GB Soccer. 


The Reilly boys have done it all, been everywhere, won everything and enjoyed every minute of it.

Memphis, Jacksonville, Florida, Minnesota, Naples, Ireland to name but a few places. 

US Club Regional Premier Champions in 2008, 3rd place finish at the Virginia National Championships. Tournament winners at Naples, Memphis, Fort Dix, Homdel, Group winners at Top College showcases in Bethesda and PDA, NJ. The list goes on and on.


The rewards: Nearly every player is either booked into a top college soccer program or is close to choosing. Hard work gets it's reward, these boys are proof of that.

rvsc u18s, at wallkill, Nov. 2008

The Reilly 18's began were they left off with fine wins at Walkill, a 2-0 win over PA Classics was quickly followed by a close and contraversal 2-1 loss to Nationally ranked Albertson SC. Alex Laid being very harshly dismissed while the RV boys were well in charge of the game. Day 2 brought about an excellent 2-1 win over ex State Champs East Fishkill and the players rounded off a good start to the season with a 0-0 tie with the mighty FC Westchester.

Ramapo Valley u17 boys followed up their North Eastern college showcase win in early November by wining the Maps Winter Showcase in Homdel NJ, over Thanks giving weekend. This was then followed up with an excellent Tournament win at The Kelme Cup  in Naples Florida over the Martin Lurther King weekend.The team now boasts a 10 wins one tie one loss record with just four goals conceded and a total of twenty Nine scored. Next up for the team is Fort Dix, New Jersey.

The tournament took place in the Excellent Collier Sports complex on beautiful green fields in very nice Florida weather. Game one saw the team take a 1-0 lead in the first half, with Joe Connolly on target for the Tornadoes, but a bad last 10 minute spell in the 2nd half saw Joe Bottani and Rob Hirt dismissed by some harsh ref calls resulting in Csk Juventus leveling the game and in the last seconds of the game scoring the winner.

Game two: Rvsc bounced back with some excellent soccer and a game winning goal by Mike Vucinaj, assisted by Steve Stewart. Mike Lincolin then work his socks in defence off to make sure that they did not give the lead away.


Game Three became crucial for advancement to the final. At half time RVSC were 2-1 up goals by Joe Connolly and Brendan Flynn. But the other group game gong on besdie the RVSC game was also a 2-1 scoreline at the half meaning Rvsc would lose out on goal difference. The 2nd half though RVSC got the third goal needed against the Canadian team "British Columbia" Rob Hirt scoring on the rebound of a Danny Davren penalty. n the final Rvsc gameaway with a 2-0 win, Steve Stewart getting the all important 2nd goal which killed off the Parsipany u18 New Jersey Champions. After a close fought 0-0 first half, Joe connolly got his 3rd goal of the tournament in the 2nd half to give the RVSC a deserved lead. 

Sean Reilly was voted the Players Player of the tournament.
