The Spartans soccer team had a very tough season, not only was their schedule the hardest it's ever been but it was also their worst year for serious injuries. 7 of these coming before a ball was kicked in anger. Among the injured was their starting keeper, Andrew Tartara who had a season ending injury 5th metatorsil injury the day before the first game of the season. Also out was William Miller, James Earl and top signing from Plattsburg College,  Kurt schuler.

The team however showed how much the college has come along as players losses became other players gains and a number of lads stepped up to the plate to help Stac to end with some excellent wins and encouragement for the future. It was a huge 2-1 win over the conference champions Molloy College LI, and a 3-2 win over 2 year top four finishers Queen's College, NY.Stac also recorded their first win over the big east contenders ST. Anslem's University with an exciting 4-3 away win and come from behind 3-2 win against St Rose University, NY.
